War hero Captain Charlie Plumb, high-yield farmer Kelly Garrett, and top ag economist Dan Basse have been confirmed as key speakers for Meristem’s Breakthrough to Excellence Dealer Partner Exchange, July 31 – August 2, 2024 at Lake Lawn Resort in Delavan, Wisconsin, it was announced here today. They will headline an event including plot tours, extensive agronomic know-how, networking, and business ideas.

“Our mission is bringing more bushels for less to America’s farmers,” said Mitch Eviston, Founder and CEO of Meristem in unveiling the speaker line-up, “and that takes more than just great products – it takes top-notch knowledge and a positive, can-do attitude. We want our dealers to be a source of it all.” The event is exclusive to Meristem dealers, prospective dealers, and their families.

A former Navy pilot and prisoner of war, Captain Charlie Plumb is one of the most sought-after inspirational speakers of his time. His insights on coping with difficulties and opportunities have had a positive impact on all who’ve heard him. Iowa farmer Kelly Garrett, of Xtreme Ag, is an NCGA Yield Winner and grower of 300+ bu./A. corn and 100 bu./A. soybeans. His goal is to beat the current Iowa corn yield record or 446 bu./A. He will share his experience in pursuing those higher yields and greater ROI (return on investment). Economist Dan Basse, Founder and CEO of AgResource Company, is known for a deep understanding of global grain markets and will share his insights on the many dynamics affecting the 2024 crop season.
